Visit the museum for "Photography Thru the Ages" this summer.

Our center display will display the various cameras and filmography devices donated through the years. Of special interest are the camera displays of Edwin "Chief" Meneghini and Robert Williams.

Edwin "Chief" Meneghini (1918-1997) was a lifelong resident of Norway and worked as the police chief for many years. He had a life long interest in photography. He was the proprietor of the "Shutter Shop" for several years and also contributed pictures to both the Norway Current and The Daily News. "Chief" was, also, a beloved mentor to a few other area photographers.

Robert Williams (1920-2011) served overseas in the Army during WWII (1942-1945), earning a bronze star. His main job was to take aerial photographs for use by the cartographers. In 1962, he settled his family in Vulcan and he began working for the Norway Current Print Shop.

Read more in our Newseum about "Photography Thru the Ages". Each month this season, the museum will showcase area photographers.

June: Karen Klenke will showcase her well known photo artistry. She's an area favorite for portraits and her area scenic photos have earned her some rewards.

July: Mary Spera has long graced Norway with her community event shots of games, picnics, etc., that are often in local newspapers but did you know she was a talented scenic photographer as well?

August: Diane Westrich of Vulcan is a four-seasons photographer who loves the outdoors and nature. Her eyes and camera lens gravitate towards interesting sunsets, flowers, and landscapes.

October 4 (Leif Erikson Day) features, Alex Melelli, a Norway graduate. He is a talented wildlife photographer and avid bird watcher. He is excited to share his work with his hometown.
